Take the next step in Guest Relations leadership
Join our team as a Guest Relations Management Intern and gain hands-on experience in luxury hospitality. This immersive program will expose you to both guest-facing interactions and behind-the-scenes leadership responsibilities. You’ll develop key management skills, oversee internal operations, and serve as the vital link between guests, team members, and hotel departments.
With a comprehensive perspective, you’ll take on leadership tasks while ensuring seamless coordination across teams. Most importantly, your focus will be on creating exceptional and memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Create unforgettable, tailor-made guest experiences with creativity
- Support and create a warm welcome to our guests
- Handle daily administrative tasks, including guest reviews, VIP lists, emails, and group preparation
- Manage and prepare for top VIP arrivals, including artist management and other high-profile guests
- Engage in meaningful guest contact, offering personalized service, and anticipate of guests needs
- Monitor our online performance by analyzing guest sentiment and comparing with our comp set, identifying areas for improvement
- Lead our daily historical tour, sharing our proud history with internal and external guests
Management Responsibilities
· Create and manage staff schedules based on forecasts and business needs
· Handle hour administration and communicate with HR on behalf of the team
· Take ownership of a project of your choice, for example enhancing guest satisfaction
· Be the point of contact for the team regarding schedule changes and task ownership
· Lead internal communication and ensure all stakeholders are aligned
· Support financial processes, including budgeting and internal/external ordering (for example, Room Service orders for amenities, orders from our Florist)
· Take responsibility for weekly meetings where Guest Relations leads the meetings
· Support recruitment by joining interviews where possible
· Ensure the continuation of quality as a key holder in our luxury service journey
What you will bring to the role
- A proactive attitude and a people-first mindset, hospitality is your main drive
- A hands-on personality who isn’t afraid to take ownership and share feedback
- Strong communication skills, acting as a spider in the web to align guest wishes with all departments
- Creativity and curiosity, always looking for ways to improve the guest experience
- Enrolled in a hospitality education and available for a minimum of 5 months
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and don’t believe in a 9-to-5 mindset
- You're ready for an all-around challenge that will shape your hospitality future
